How Time Flies

Hello there, everyone! I hope the new year is treating you well. Imagine the ninth day of the second month of the year is about to come to a close on my part of the world. How time flies so fast. Nowadays I feel like I have to run just to catch up with the days. Anyhow, I am grateful that another new year has unfolded. I, once again, have another year to fulfill new goals set and maybe, just maybe, goals of last year that are still pending will be fulfilled as well this year.

Previously, I made it a point to come up with New Year’s resolutions, but almost often I never get to accomplish these resolutions. So for the past two years, I list down goals instead of resolutions at the start of the new year. Goals feel firmer and I’ve realized that I put more effort into accomplishing goals than resolutions. Go figure. But that’s me. Hehe. Last year, I listed down 5 goals and 2 were written off as being met. Hooray! One of the goals is still waiting completion or not. I’m giving it until the end of the first quarter. The other 2, well, let’s just say were a bit slightly possible only to begin with. Nevertheless, I’ve put these 2 unmet goals to my 2014 Goals. Let’s see how things will fare this year. This 2014 I’ve come up with 7 goals and I’m determined to accomplish all of them. God willing. How about you? Have you set yourself up to some resolutions or goals this new year? If yes, I wish you good  luck and may this new year bring lots of positive things to all of us.

Thanks for reading. 🙂

  1. I have set myself 23 goals to complete before my 23rd birthday, which is in December so they are quite like resolutions. Most of mine will be unachievable but if I try most of them I’ll be happy 🙂 good luck with yours!

    • Wow! 23! Hehe. I’m sure just having accomplished most of these will make you feel happy. As a saying goes, “what you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” Thanks for dropping by, Hannah.
