Lost and Found Mails

I haven’t had much outgoing mails to send the past several weeks so I refrain from visiting my P.O. box.  Today, however, I had to file for an exam and the office I went to was right next door the post office. Long story short, I checked my mailbox and voila! I got several letters waiting for me to claim them. Look!

And the most amazing thing about these letters was that I thought them forever lost from all the holiday rush traffic. I am so happy to finally receive them. Tomorrow is soon enough for me to start my replies (and apologies).

Have a great week, everyone! Thank you for reading.

My Favorite Planner

I have used too many planners to count from my high school years until the present. Of all the planners, Belle de Jour Power Planner has become my favorite. It’s a great fit to a Pinay! Actually I have missed two years of its issue (2012 & 2013) because I was here in the U.A.E. and the postage is quite scandalous if I’ll order it from here. However, this year I made it a point to save enough for the postage. So, last January 30, I finally got hold of the 2014 Belle de Jour Power Planner. Isn’t it fabulous? The inside is even more amazing!

I’ve been filling it up with this and that ever since it arrived at my mailbox. How about you, dear friends? Do you buy planners every year or you just use the more high tech gadgets available now to sync all your activities? Whichever way you schedule your life, here’s wishing all of us a grand time doing it.

How Time Flies

Hello there, everyone! I hope the new year is treating you well. Imagine the ninth day of the second month of the year is about to come to a close on my part of the world. How time flies so fast. Nowadays I feel like I have to run just to catch up with the days. Anyhow, I am grateful that another new year has unfolded. I, once again, have another year to fulfill new goals set and maybe, just maybe, goals of last year that are still pending will be fulfilled as well this year.

Previously, I made it a point to come up with New Year’s resolutions, but almost often I never get to accomplish these resolutions. So for the past two years, I list down goals instead of resolutions at the start of the new year. Goals feel firmer and I’ve realized that I put more effort into accomplishing goals than resolutions. Go figure. But that’s me. Hehe. Last year, I listed down 5 goals and 2 were written off as being met. Hooray! One of the goals is still waiting completion or not. I’m giving it until the end of the first quarter. The other 2, well, let’s just say were a bit slightly possible only to begin with. Nevertheless, I’ve put these 2 unmet goals to my 2014 Goals. Let’s see how things will fare this year. This 2014 I’ve come up with 7 goals and I’m determined to accomplish all of them. God willing. How about you? Have you set yourself up to some resolutions or goals this new year? If yes, I wish you good  luck and may this new year bring lots of positive things to all of us.

Thanks for reading. 🙂
